WEEKLY FIND: JAZZ NIGHTS AND SAMBA SATURDAYS AT THE JAPANESE-PERUVIAN EATERY NIKKEI

In the three years since its opening, Japanese-Peruvian restaurant Nikkei has managed to transform into a familiar, intimate space for longtime patrons and new customers alike to enjoy more than a few servings of fresh sushi rolls, ceviche, and causa appetizers. After introducing a set menu earlier this year, Nikkei continues to innovate its offerings by presenting us with even more reasons to dine in for a mid-week stopover or a festive dinner on the weekend: Jazz Nights, held every Wednesday evening, features musician Alvin Cornista (Php 899+ for six beers and a choice of sushi rolls and bar chow), while Samba Saturdays features live performances by the Sabor Latino Group and Da Ora (Php 899+ for six beers and bar chow).
